Born and raised in the Buckle of the Bible Belt, author JC Thrash always assumed she was straight. After all, that’s what was expected of her. But when she fell in love with a woman for the first time, she finally had to come to terms with, yes, what she knew deep-down all along: she is super gay.
With a background of over a decade in higher education, Thrash has worked at colleges such as [THE] Ohio State University and Northeastern University. When she moved back to Ohio in 2022, Thrash took a break from higher education to focus on her passion: writing.
Her first major project is a coming out story steeped in family drama, seeking belonging, and being true to yourself.
When she is not writing or educating, Thrash enjoys lots of snow, long walks with her fluffy Beagle mix, and exploring cities and communities with her wife, especially via bicycle.
